Ever Tried Googling Yourself?

18 Feb

I hadn’t until last week. Fortunately, nothing horrifically awful came up, only my LinkedIn profile, twitter, – profiles that I am comfortable with other people and more importantly with  potential employers viewing.  Until recently I would have been ecstatic with this result, however having learnt about the likes of about.me (a site that pools together all aspects of your online identity…  and creates a sleek cover-page for them… perfect for self-promotion), I am now aware that there is a lot more I can do to improve my online identity, and especially with an individual name like mine (I’m pretty certain I’m currently the online person alive called Anna Clancy-Stride…) I should really take advantage of it. About.me, Google Profiles on Google +… a more tenderly looked-after LinkedIn profile, watch out I’m coming!
